Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta’s Veer-Zaara to re-release in theatres

Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta’s epic-romance Veer-Zaara will be re-released in theatres on September 13, the makers announced recently. It will be releasing exclusively in the multiplex chain Cinepolis across the country. The film is written by Aditya Chopra and directed by Yash Chopra.

The makers shared a poster for the film and wrote in caption, “A match made in heaven. Veer-Zaara is coming back to the theatres on Friday,13th Sept! Watch it at a Cinepolis screen near you! (Link in bio).”

Veer-Zaara was Yash Chopra’s comeback film in the industry after a gap of seven years and became the highest grossing film of 2004. It was praised for its songs and sensitive portrayal of India-Pakistan relations.

The film also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Dutta, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Kirron Kher in pivotal roles. The music was composed by Madan Mohan with lyrics by Javed Akhtar. It released originally on November 12, 2004, and was produced by Yash Raj Films.
