Actor Nana Patekar took to social media on Sunday to share a new poster from his upcoming film Vanvaas and also announce the teaser release date of the film. Stating that the Anil Sharma (Gadar 2) directorial is “one of the best films he has worked on”, Nana said that the film’s teaser will be unveiled in two days, on October 29.

"#Vanvaas ki puri journey mere liye bahot hi yaadgaar rahi. Yeh aaj tak ki meri best filmon mein se ek hai (The journey of Vanvaas has been memorable for me. This is one of the best films I have worked on). Bas 2 din baad (In just two days), teaser out on 29th October."

Along with Nana, Vanvaas also stars Anil’s son Utkarsh Sharma. The film is touted as a modern take on the mythological epic Ramayana. As per an earlier press release shared by the makers, Vanvaas is “an intriguing story that explores a timeless theme, echoing an ancient tale where duty, honor, and the consequences of one’s actions shape the course of lives.”

The film is written, produced and directed by Anil Sharma and will be released worldwide by Zee Studios on December 20.
