If we go by his X account, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma seems to be obsessed with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The Company (2002) director recently said that he considers Lawrence more “good looking” than any film star.

Ram shared a photo of Lawrence in an orange t-shirt and a black-and-orange hoodie, and wrote in the caption on his X handle, “If a film is based on the BIGGEST GANGSTER , no film maker will cast a guy who looks like DAWOOD IBRAHIM or CHOTA RAJAN ..But here , I don’t know a single FILM STAR who is more GOOD LOOKING than B.”

Previously, Ram had tagged Salman Khan in his post, asking him to give a “counter threat” to Lawrence. “I wish @BeingSalmanKhan will give a SUPER COUNTER THREAT to B or otherwise , it will look like a COWARDICE of the TIGER STAR ..S K owes it to his fans to rise up as the BIGGER SUPER HERO in comparison to B.”

Ram’s post on equating Lawrence’s life with that of a film script has been also gaining traction on social media. “A LAWYER turned GANGSTER wants to take REVENGE for a DEER’S death by killing a SUPER STAR and as a WARNING orders some of his GANG of 700 , which he recruited through face book to first kill a BIG POLITICIAN who is a close friend of the STAR .. The POLICE can’t catch him because he is under the protection of the GOVERNMENT in a JAIL and his spokesman speaks from ABROAD .. If a Bollywood writer comes up with a story like this they will thrash him for writing the most unbelievable and ridiculous story ever,” reads the post.

Lawrence's beef with Salman dated back to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case involving Salman in Rajasthan. His henchmen have also previously fired outside the Wanted (2008) actor’s house and Larence himself has issued open threats to the actor. Recently, the gangster was in news for allegedly being involved in NCP leader and Salman’s close aide Baba Siddique’s murder.
