Kartik Aaryan recently opened up about how it took him some time to get into the Bhool Bhulaiyaa ‘zone’ as he started working on the film after finishing Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. He said that director Anees Bazmee was shocked with his ‘subtle’ acting.
In an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik said, “After Chandu Champion, I went on the sets of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I was doing everything in extreme subtle way. My voice was calm. When Anees Bazmee took the first shot, he was shocked. He was like ‘Kartik, wake up, this is a different world’. It took me a few days to get back into Bhool Bhulaiyaa zone. I was engrossed in Chandu Champion.”
Speaking more about the film, Kartik added, “This time we have bigger budget. This was a huge difference. Last time, it was a task to shoot. The audience wasn’t even sure why we were making the sequel, and they felt this is not going to work. However, I am glad, Bhushan sir and Anees Bazmee believed in the project and made it somehow.”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles and is set to be released in theatres on November 1, clashing with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
