Tumbbad makes Rs 30.4 crore in three weeks of re-release

The film has already doubled the money it made (Rs 15.46 crore) in its initial run in 2018

Tumbbad, in its re-release, has raked in about Rs 30.4 in net box office in three weeks at the box office, a press note shared by the makers revealed on Friday.

The 2018 film re-released in theatres on September 13. In its first week it earned Rs 13.44 crore, followed by Rs 12.26 crore in the second.  In its 3rd week, it added Rs. 2.8 Crores from Friday to Sunday, followed by Rs. 1.9 Crores from Monday to Thursday.

The film has already doubled the money it made (Rs 15.46 crore) in its initial run in 2018.

Tumbbad is a folk-horror film directed by Rahi Anil Barve, with Anand Gandhi as the creative director, and Adesh Prasad as the co-director. It is written by Mitesh Shah, Adesh, Rahi, and Anand. The film was produced by Sohum Shah, Aanand L. Rai, Mukesh Shah and Amita Shah, starring Sohum Shah in the lead role.
