Bollywood director Ashwini Dhir’s 18-year-old son Jalaj Dhir died in a car accident on November 23, as per a report in The Free Press Journal. He was out on a car drive with three of his friends when the car rammed on a divider on the highway

Jalaj was going on a late-night drive from Mumbai’s Bandra to Goregaon with his friends. One of them, Sahil Mendha (18), was reportedly under the influence of alcohol and was behind the wheels. Sahil lost control of the car midway and it rammed straight onto a divider between the highway and service road.
