Tumbbad actor Sohum Shah opened up recently about his approach towards filmmaking and said that he doesn’t have any special topic in his mind to work on but will collaborate with anyone who brings him a good script.

Sohum also shared a lesson that he learnt from Aamir Khan. “Make one film, but do it with all your heart,” he said, adding that passion and dedication are far more important than focusing solely on commercial success.

He is known for backing off-beat projects, having produced experimental films like Ship of Theaseus (2013) and Tumbbad (2018) before. “I don’t have any special topics in mind that I want to focus on. Whoever brings me a good script, I will work with that person,” he added.

Tumbbad had a re-release recently in theatres and it earned three times more than its original box-office run in 2018. At the same time, Sohum also announced Tumbbad 2, however, it will not be helmed by Rahi Anil Barve, who directed the first film.

Sohum will also be seen next in Crazxy. Its motion poster was unveiled recently and it is slated to release on March 7 next year.
