Agni Teaser: Pratik Gandhi, Saiyami Kher are firefighters saving a city engulfed in blaze

The film also stars Divyenndu, Jitendra Joshi, Sai Tamhankar, Udit Arora, and Kabir Shah

The teaser for Pratik Gandhi’s Agni was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. Written and directed by Raees (2017) filmmaker Rahul Dholakia, Agni also stars Divyenndu, Saiyami Kher, Jitendra Joshi, Sai Tamhankar, Udit Arora, and Kabir Shah in pivotal roles.

The teaser opens with a building catching fire and firefighters assembling on the spot. In a voiceover, Pratik’s character is heard speaking about the glory of firefighters as they are seen going into a fire in order to save people. Divyenndu is a police officer who is shown receiving an award and Saiyami plays a firefighter as well. There are more visuals of fire and structures exploding due to it shown in a quick flash as the teaser ends with the title reveal.

The synopsis shared by the makers reads, “In a city engulfed by a mysterious surge in fires, Vithal, a courageous fireman, and his brother-in-law, Samit, a hotshot policeman, begrudgingly join forces to unravel the escalating crisis. As they battle their own differences and a race against time, they must reconcile personal conflicts to crack the case and protect Mumbai from impending disaster.”

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani, Agni is shot by acclaimed cinematographer KU Mohanan. It is set to be released on Primve Video on December 6.
