As we near the results of the US presidential elections, actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has picked a side.

Predictably endorsing Donald Trump, she took to her Instagram stories to post a picture of the ex-President which went viral after an assassination attempt on him at a rally this year. “If I were American, I would vote for the one who got shot, dodged it, got up, continued his speech, Total killer,” she wrote below the picture.

On July 13, a lone gunman fired at Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania. As he was delivering his speech, a popping sound was heard, followed by him touching his ear and realising there was blood on it. Within seconds, he dropped to the stage floor and was surrounded by Secret Service agents.

He was helped back to his feet and was escorted from the stage, even as he raised his fist and shouted “fight, fight, fight.”

On the film front, Kangana will be next seen in Emergency, which will finally see the light of day after undergoing a lot of tussle with the Central Bureau of Film Certification (CBFC).
