The second single from Mr & Mrs Mahi, 'Roya Jab Tu', has been released by the makers of the Rajkummar Rao and Jahnvi Kapoor starrer on Tuesday.

Termed as the 'heartbreak anthem of the year' by the makers, the song is about how both the 'Mahis' fall out of love possibly due to a disagreement in Rajkummar's pursuit of making his wife, played by Jahnvi, a successful professional cricketer. The video too suggests this theory since visuals of the song mostly unfolds either in the locker room, net session, or at a match.

Composer Vishal Mishra has also donned the singer and lyricist hats for this song. He is accompanied by Azeem Dayani on the writing front.

First single of the film ‘Dekhha Tenu’ was released on May 15.

According to the trailer released earlier this month, the film revolves around the male and female leads named Mahi. With Rajkummar's character failing as his cricketer, he discovers their shared love for cricket post-marriage. The film then ventures into the complex zone of Rajkummar's Mahi vicariously wanting to live his dream through Jahnvi's Mahi.

The film marks the reunion of Rajkummar and Janhvi after the 2021 horror-comedy Roohi. It is produced by Karan Johar, Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. The film directed by Sharan Sharma will hit the big screens on May 31.
