‘Taras’ song from the horror-comedy Munjya out

The song ‘Taras’ from the horror-comedy Munjya was released by the makers on Monday. It features actor Sharvari dancing to the tunes. The film is directed by Marathi director Aditya Sarpotdar and also stars Abhay Verma, Mona Singh and S. Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.

The song is designed as an old-school dance number with Sharvari moving electrifyingly in the front. It is sung in a deep voice by Jasmine Sandlas with additional vocals by Sachin-Jigar, who has also composed it. The lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya capture the essence of longing and include Urdu words to bring the emotions out. The music video also features some comic scenes from the film.

Earlier, the trailer for the film was released that gave a glimpse into the film, introducing the core conflict.

The film is written by Yogesh Chandekar with additional screenplay and dialogue by Niren Bhatt. Its music has been given by Sachin- Jigar with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It is produced by the makers of Stree, Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik. It will be released in theatres on June 7.
