The makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule released a teaser clip featuring Rashmika Mandanna, sharing an update about the release of their second single on Thursday. The single, titled 'Sooseki’, will be unveiled on May 29.

The announcement video features Rashmika getting ready in the make-up room, before she breaks the fourth wall and lip-syncs briefly to 'Sooseki’, doing the signature step from Pushpa: The Rise. Shreyas Ghoshal is the playback singer, and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Devi had also composed the soundtrack for Pushpa: The Rise, and won the National Award for the same.

The upcoming Allu Arjun starrer is written and directed by Sukumar, who had also directed Pushpa: The Rise (2021). The cinematography is by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and editing by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben. Jointly Produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Pushpa 2: The Rule is set for a theatrical release on August 15.
