The song ‘Dekhha Tenu’ from Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s Mr. & Mrs. Mahi was released by the makers on Wednesday. It is a love song that captures their budding romance. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma who has also written the screenplay with Nikhil Mehrotra.

The music video of the song opens with a marriage proposal scene with the parents of Rajkummar and Janhvi’s character engaging in a conversation. Later, during the visuals of their wedding, the vocals by Mohammed Faiz begin. The opening part of the song is inspired from the song ‘Say Shava Shava’ from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001) originally composed by Aadesh Shrivastava and sung by Udit Narayan. ‘Dekhha Tenu’ is composed and written by Jaani. The video ends with a Holi celebration with Rajkummar and Janhvi all soaked up in colors.

The film marks the reunion of Rajkummar and Janhvi after the 2021 horror-comedy Roohi. It is produced by Karan Johar, Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. It will hit the big screens on May 31.
