Kareena Kapoor Khan is fresh off the success of Crew, where she plays an air hostess alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The actor revealed in a recent Variety interview that she would like to see a second part to the film, by director Rajesh A Krishnan. While talking to Variety on her latest appointment as the UNICEF India National Ambassador, Kareena said , "If there’s one film that deserves a sequel, it is Crew, because I think it was such a refreshing take on women standing their own, using their mind, standing for their rights, in a very fun kind of way. It wasn’t preaching anything. It is film, it is entertainment. And that’s why I think the film did well."

Kareena also discussed Singham Again, the next installment in the Cop Universe franchise of filmmaker Rohit Shetty that also stars Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh. Describing it as a "completely male testosterone film," she said, "There’s Deepika Padukone and me in the film, where we have very strong parts. But obviously it’ll be really different, it is the big ticket Bollywood bonanza for this year, and I’m sure people will enjoy that."

Kareena will also be seen in The Buckingham Murders, the Hansal Mehta film that stars her as a detective who looks into a teenager's murder in Buckinghamshire.
