Acclaimed actors Vijay Raaz and Ashutosh Rana join forces to solve a murder case in the upcoming crime-drama Murder in Mahim, whose trailer was unveiled by the makers on Friday. Based on Jerry Pinto’s 2017 book of the same name, the series has been directed by Raj Acharya and adapted for the screen by Mustafa Neemuchwala and Udai Singh Pawar.

The trailer opens with a young man being stabbed to death. His body is then found in the toilet of Mahim railway station. The case is assigned to cop Shiva Jende (Vijay Raaz). He partners up with his long-time aide, journalist Peter Fernandes (Ashutosh Rana) and the duo starts investigating the murder. As they delve into different aspects of the case, it is revealed that those getting murdered were seeking homoerotic pleasures.

The show also stars Shivani Raghuvanshi and Shivaji Satam in pivotal roles. It will start streaming on JioCinema Premium from May 10.
