Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi will be seen together in the courtroom-comedy Jolly LLB 3, the shoot for which began on Thursday. The film’s previous installments Jolly LLB (2013) and Jolly LLB 2 (2017) starred Arshad and Akshay, respectively. In both films, Saurabh Shukla was seen playing the role of Judge Tripathi.

In a video shared by the makers, Arshad and Akshay are seen individually claiming that they are the original ‘Jolly’. Arshad says that he is Jagdish Tyagi aka ‘Jolly’ and urges viewers to be wary of duplicates; on the other hand, Akshay states that he is Jagdishwar Mishra, the real ‘Jolly’ from Lucknow. Saurabh is then seen holding a board which reads, ‘Jolly LLB 3 Shoot Begins’.

While the original Jolly LLB was about Arshad’s Jagdish Tyagi, an inconsequential lawyer who argues against Boman Irani’s elite advocate Tejinder Rajpal in a hit-and-run case, Jolly LLB 2 features Akshay as Jagdishwar Mishra, a shady lawyer who gets a call of conscience when a pregnant woman commits suicide because of his bluff.

Akshay was recently seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, while Arshad was last seen in the Voot series Asur.
