I needed that one turn which didn't happen: Kareena Kapoor on her dull phase before Jab We Met

Opening up on her dull phase in Bollywood, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan said she was desperately waiting for a break in her career before Jab We Met happened.

She spoke to popular podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia on how she would cry to sleep when her films don't end up doing well. The Crew actress said people used to say 'she's so good' but the one film she needed was not happening.

Kareena said at one point she stopped signing films as she required a break to regroup herself. She said she needed that break to reassess and wait for the perfect script. She also said on another occasion that she had great expectations for Tashan and had acted and forgotten Jab We Met. But it was the former that underperformed and the latter turned out to be big.

Jab We Met turned a huge turning point in Kareena's over two decade acting career.
