Narendra Khatri: Filming of Gauraiya Live was completed within eight days

The actor, who is best known for his roles in films like Sultan, PK, Kapoor & Sons, Chup, Khufiya, and Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, talks about his upcoming film Gauraiya Live

Actor Narendra Khatri, who was last seen in Kirao Rao's directorial Laapata Ladies, will next be seen in an upcoming film titled, Gauraiya Live. Directed by Gabriel Vats, the film also features Omkar Das Manikpuri, Seema Saini, Narendra Khatri, Ada Singh, and Vinay Jha.

With the film gearing up for a release on March 29, Khatri shares some insights about the upcoming film, " I have played a very prominent character. The name of my character is Devnarayan. My character will make you laugh a lot. So, for this character, the brief that I was given allowed me to have complete freedom of improvisation, " says the actor.

On further detailing the story of the film, the actor adds," It is a story of 30 hours of survival. The film depicts the story of Rampal, a labourer in Bhopal. He lives a miserable but happy life with his family. The life of Rampal takes a tragic turn when his daughter Gauraiya falls into a borewell at a construction site. The rest of the film narrates the survival story of Gauraiya. And my character is Rampal's close friend."

Reflecting upon the shooting experience of Guriya Live, Khatri signs off by saying, "Filming of Gauraiya Live was completed within eight days. So from day one, everyone was working full-on, running around, getting everyone in their spot, coordinating with the direction team, managing production, and even the producers were continuously taking care of everyone. The entire team and the experience made me feel like we are family."
