The third installment of action-thriller webseries Mirzapur was officially announced on during the Prime Video event in Mumbai.

Talking about the third season, Ali Fazal, who plays Guddu Bhaiya, said this installment will have more masala and it's flavour will be similar to that of the maiden season.

Opening up on his looks and preparation, Fazal said he changed his diet and did a lot of workout but stayed away from protein shakes or any other additives.

The third season is expected to answer million dollar questions such as why did Sharad (Anjum Sharma) save Kaleen Bhaiyya (Pankaj Tripathi).

The ensemble cast also includes Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi and Isha Talwar.

Mirzapur was premiered in 2018 and the second season followed in 2020, and after four-long years the series' fans are eager to welcome season three.
