Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital on Friday morning, according to some reports. The actor is reportedly undergoing treatment for a clot in his leg at the Hospital in Mumbai. There has been no official confirmation from the actor yet.

Earlier this year, the veteran actor went through a wrist surgery. He continued to shoot for his upcoming projects despite the injuries. His medical restrictions also prevented him from being present at the poster launch of Kalki 2989 AD which happened at the Comic Con in San Diego last year.

Bachchan was last seen in a special appearance in 2023 in the action film Ganapath which starred Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He also played himself last year in the sports drama Ghoomer starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. He will next be seen in a film alongside Rajinikanth which is directed by T.J Gnanavel.
