Sara Ali Khan will soon be seen in Netflix's whodunit Murder Mubarak. The murder mystery is an ensemble and boasts of actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Karisma Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Vijay Varma and Tisca Chopra, among others.

The trailer of the film was recently released. At the trailer launch event, Sara expressed her excitement about stepping into a new genre and said, "It's a genre I have never done before, and that was a huge draw to it. I admire Homi (Adajania) sir's work; it's not just the story, but how he tells it."

"It's about an elite club through a Delhi middle-class lens. It's been a while since I have played a urban modern, glamorous character, which is different from my usual style. It's showing a new side of me", she added.

Murder Mubarak is directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. Apart from the Netflix film, Sara will also be seen in Prime Video's Ae Watan Mere Watan, in which she will be playing the role of freedom fighter Usha Mehta. Also on the cards is Anurag Basu's Metro...In Dino.
