Janhvi Kapoor’s Ulajh has been delayed and will be released now on August 2, she announced on Monday. It was earlier scheduled to release on July 5. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Matthew, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles.

Sharing a motion poster of the film, Janhvi made the announcement. In the poster, tinkling bells are heard in the tune of the song, ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’ along with the tick of the clock as the music turns a bit intense. In the caption, Janhvi wrote, “Ulajh is now set to release on 2nd August in cinemas near you! See you guys with popcorn soon!”

Earlier, the film’s teaser was unveiled where Janhvi plays Suhana, a diplomat and a layer of mystery surrounds her character. Gulshan Devaiah's voiceover is heard over the visuals saying, "Suhana, you thought you did everything for your country? Continents and countries are mere lines drawn in sand."
