MP and actor Shatrughan Sinha along with wife Poonam Sinha were seen enjoying the pre-wedding festivities of their daughter Sonkashi Sinha in recent photos. Sonakshi is all set to tie the knot with longtime partner Zaheer Iqbal today.
In the photos, Shatrughan and Poonam are seen posing for the camera at, surrounded by friends and family members. The pics were shared by Sinha family friend Anu Ranjan on her Instagram stories.
On Saturday, Sonakshi Sinha’s parents hosted a puja at their home, where the actor and her mother participated in the rituals together. Before the puja, Sonakshi and Zaheer had organised a small party and mehendi ceremony for their close circle of friends and family.
Earlier, there were rumours going around that the Sinha family is apparently miffed with Sonakshi’s decision to marry Zaheer and won’t be part of the ceremony.
However, Shatrughan later clarified and said, “I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?”
“Sonakshi has every right to choose her partner and the other details of her wedding,” he had added.
