Actor Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with longtime partner Zaheer Iqbal on Sunday. The two had a registered marriage and the civil ceremony took place at Sonakshi’s apartment in Bandra.

Sonakshi shared a slew of pictures from the event. She can be seen decked up in an ivory saree while Zaheer went for an all-white ensemble. Her father Shatrughan Sinha can also be seen in the photos.

Sharing the pics, she captioned the post, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever.”

Following the event, the couple will have a star-studded reception at Mumbai’s luxury restaurant Bastian.

Sonakshi and Zaheer had been dating for about seven years. They also starred together in the film Double XL (2022).
