Rashmika Mandanna reacted to a photo posted by Salman Khan from the sets of Sikandar as he began the shoot for the film on Wednesday. She plays the lead in the film alongside Salman. Sikandar is helmed by Ghajini (2008) and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014) director AR Murugadoss.

Reacting to the photo that also features AR Murugadoss and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Rashmika said, “Joining soon. Can’t wait!”

She was last seen in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal (2023), which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. She has Pushpa 2: The Rule in the pipeline, besides Vicky Kaushal’s Chhava which is directed by Laxman Utekar.

Sikandar features music composed by Pritam. It is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and will be released in theatres on Eid next year.
