Alia Bhatt headliner Jigra now has a new release date. The Vasan Bala directorial, also starring Vedang Raina, was earlier scheduled to come out on September 27. It will now hit the theatres on October 11, 2024.

Alia took to social media on Friday to make the announcement. She shared a poster from the film and wrote, “11.10.2024 | JIGRA | See you at the movies.”

It was earlier reported in February that the film has been wrapped.

Jigra is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia’s Eternal Sunshine.  The film's announcement video suggested that the film is about a sister who would go to any lengths to protect her brother.
