Film production house Excel Entertainment took to their Instagram account on Wednesday to celebrate nine years of Zoya Akhtar’s family-drama Dil Dhadakne Do. The film, starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah and Farhan Akhtar, released on June 5, 2015.

A reel shared by the production house highlights the different moments from the film. “We’re on cloud nine cause it’s the 9th anniversary of #DilDhadakneDo,” they captioned the post.

The film tells the story of the Mehras, a rich, dysfunctional family, as they embark on a 10-day cruise to commemorate their parents' 30th wedding anniversary and, eventually, mend old wounds.

The supporting ensemble includes Rahul Bose, Zarina Wahab, Vikrant Massey, Pawan Chopra, Parmeet Sethi, Dolly Mattdo, and Manoj Pahwa, among others.

The film was received well by critics and made a business of about Rs 150 crore at the worldwide box office.
