Anupam Kher congratulated Kangana Ranaut on winning the seat for Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi on Tuesday. The results for Lok Sabha elections 2024 were declared today.

Anupam took to twitter to write a short note for Kangana as he posted a video featuring her. He said, “Dearest @KanganaTeam! Congratulations on your huge Victory! You are a Rockstar. Your journey is so so inspirational! So happy for you and the people of #Mandi and #HimachalPradesh. You have proved time and again that if one is focused and works hard तो “कुछ भी हो सकता है”! जय हो! (Anything can happen, Jai ho)”.

Kangana defeated Congress's Vikramaditya Singh who is the son of the late Virbhadra Singh, the six-time Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

Her film Emergency was earlier delayed for release due to the elections. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik. Anupam is currently shooting for his next directorial Tanvi The Great.
