After the sizzling item number ‘Taras’, the makers of the upcoming horror-comedy Munjya dropped a love melody titled ‘Tainu Khabar Nahi’. The romantic number has been picturized on the film’s leads Abhay Verma and Sharvari. It is sung by Arijit Singh and Sachin-Jigar, with music by the latter. The lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The music video is an ode to young love. We see Sharvari and Abhay’s characters as long-time best friends who fall in love. They lip-sync the lyrics as they run and frolic in their new-found romance.
Helmed by Marathi director Aditya Sarpotdar (Zombivli, 2022), the film also features Mona Singh and S. Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
Munjya is written by Yogesh Chandekar with additional screenplay and dialogue by Niren Bhatt. The film is from the house of Maddock Films and is backed by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the makers of Stree (2018). It will be released in theatres on June 7.
