The trailer for John Abraham and Sharvari’s Vedaa will be out on August 1, she announced on Wednesday. The action-thriller is directed by Nikkhil Advani, written by Aseem Arroa, and stars Abhishek Bannerjee and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles.
To make the announcement, Sharvari shared glimpses from the film’s teaser, which was released earlier, and wrote in caption, “Jhagadne nahin, ladne aa rahe hain Vedaa aur Abhimanyu! (Vedaa and Abhimanyu are coming, not to quarrel but to fight.)
The teaser introduced Sharvari as Vedaa, a fierce girl who is training to become a boxer. Parallelly, there is John Abraham’s character, who seems like an ex-Army man out to take revenge. By the looks of it, the film seems to be set in Kashmir. Although the film’s plot isn’t clear, in various intercut sequences, we see Abraham showcasing his action chops. Sharvari is also seen breaking some bones.
Vedaa is produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and John Abraham and co-produced by Minnaskshi Das. It will be released in theatres on August 15, clashing at the box office with Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein.
