Ranveer Singh confirms his next with Aditya Dhar, says 'this time, it's personal'

The title of the espionage-thriller is yet to be announced officially

Ranveer Singh confirmed his next film with URI: The Surgical Strike (2019) director Aditya Dhar through an Instagram post on Saturday. There were reports earlier speculating of the collaboration. The espionage thriller will also star Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles.

Taking to Instagram, Jio Studios shared a collage of photos of all the actors and wrote in the caption, “This is what movie dreams are made of. Helmed by Ranveer Singh, directed by Aditya Dhar, this much-anticipated collaboration between Jio Studios and B62 Studios is all set to dazzle you with a stellar cast like never before.”

Ranveer shared the same on his profile and wrote, “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal.”

More details from the film are awaited. According to some reports, the film is titled Dhurandhar and tells a story of Indian intelligence agencies. It is said to be filmed internationally and expected to be released in the last quarter of 2025. The film is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
