Janhvi Kapoor recently opened up about working with Telugu film star Jr NTR on the film Devara Part 1 and said that his energy on the set is contagious. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and also stars Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role.

Speaking about the Telugu film industry, Janhvi Kapoor expressed her admiration for their creative process, saying, "I love how they treat a movie like a work of art, like a work of cinema. They really give it that respect, scale, and magnitude, and they have so much conviction in their storytelling."

Speaking about director Koratala Siva, she said, "Siva sir is the captain of such a big ship, and he takes us so high. It's a huge film with so many extras on set, but he is so calm, lovely to talk to, and easy to work with. You feel very protected as an actor."

Regarding her experience working with Jr NTR, Janhvi added, "He walks into a frame and it comes alive. His energy is contagious. I recently shot a song with him, and the speed at which he picks up steps is unheard of. And not only dance, but his takes, his scenes—he is just alive on camera."

The makers of Devara have planned a two-part release for their film, with Devara: Part 1 being slated for a pan-India release on October 10, coinciding with the Dussehra weekend.

Janhvi was last seen in Mr. & Mrs. Mahi alongside Rajkummar Rao, and the film released in theatres on May 31. She will be seen next in the thriller Ulajh, directed by Sudhanshu Saria.
