Janhvi Kapoor hospitalized due to food poisoning: Report

Janhvi Kapoor has been hospitalized due to severe food poisoning as per a report in The Indian Express. A source from the family said that she has been admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai.

According to the report, Janhvi had gone to Chennai and returned to Mumbai on Tuesday. She started feeling unwell on Wednesday, making her to cancel all her appointments for the day and take rest. Her condition deteriorated on Thursday due to which she had to be hospitalized. She is expected to be discharged later this week.

Janvhi has been busy promoting her upcoming film Ulajh, which also stars Gulshan Devaiah Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta and Jitendra Joshi. She was present at all the festivities for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding which concluded recently in Mumbai.

She plays the role of a young, ambitious girl, Suhana Bhatia in the film who faces charges of nepotism against her. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film is written by Parveez Sheikh and Sudhanshu with dialogues by Atika Chohan. Produced by Vineet Jain and Amrita Pandey, it will release in theatres on August 2.
