Tabu recently opened up about the bond she shares with Ajay Devgn and jokingly called him a 'silent bully'. The two will be seen next in Neeraj Pandey’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. The film also stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee M Manjrekar in pivotal roles. This will be Tabu’s tenth collaboration with Ajay. The actors have previously worked together in blockbusters like the Drishyam series and recently in Bholaa (2023).

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Tabu said, “Ajay is a silent bully. You would never suspect he is up to something. He has a sneaky and sweet way of pulling pranks. He is quite mischievous. If you ask me about my friendship with Ajay one more time, he might just end it himself.”

She also reflected on older actors playing younger parts in films and said, “Audiences have seen how we look now. The suitability of older actors playing younger roles depends on the film and its context. In Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, it was better handled with younger actors.”

She added, “I wouldn’t accept younger roles anymore. I don’t see myself playing a 30-year-old character. I have to embrace my age.”

Auron Mein Kahan Tha was earlier scheduled to be released on July 5, but got delayed. It will now be released on August 2.
