Kadakh trailer: Rajat Kapoor’s meta dark-comedy featuring Ranvir Shorey tells the story of a Diwali party gone wrong

Actor and director Rajat Kapoor has unveiled the official trailer for his upcoming directorial, Kadakh. The meta dark-comedy film features an ensemble cast of Ranvir Shorey, Mansi Multani, Shruti Seth, Kalki Koechlin, Chandrachoor Rai, Cyrus Sahukar, Tara Sharma Saluja, Palomi Ghosh, Manoj Pahwa, Sagar Deshmukh, and Nupur Asthana.

The trailer opens with Rajat Kapoor’s character telling the story of a novel he is planning to write to his friend, played by Cyrus Sahukar. The novel is about the faux pas that occur between a group of friends at a Diwali party night. What begins as an ordinary gathering swiftly escalates into a labyrinth of unforeseen events. As tensions mount and long-held secrets surface, the motives of each character are thrust into the spotlight, triggering a cascade of comedic misadventures and poignant revelations.

The film will release on July 26 on the OTT platform Open Theatre.
