The trailer of Janhvi Kapoor’s spy-drama Ulajh was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. The film, directed by Sudhanshu Saria, also features Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Meiyang Chang and Rajesh Tailang, among others.

The film has been written by Parveez Sheikh, Sudhanshu Saria with dialogues by Atika Chohan.  

The trailer takes us into the life of Suhana Bhatia, a young, ambitious girl who has been appointed as the youngest Deputy High Commissioner. There are (meta) criticisms of nepotism against her. Her subordinates, including Roshan, at the London High Commission, where she has been appointed, are not cordial towards her. She also might be an undercover spy, leaking confidential documents to her handler (played by Gulshan). Meiyang Chang plays a character who is on her tail, trying to expose her.

Ulajh has been produced by Vineet Jain and Amrita Pandey. It will release in theatres on August 2.
