Shraddha Kapoor on Tuesday shared three new posters from her upcoming horror-comedy Stree 2 and also confirmed its trailer release date. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.

In the first poster, only Stree’s iconic braid can be seen, with an evil force approaching. "Ek badi suchna - O Stree aa rahi hai in just 2 din! (A big announcement, Stree is cming in just two days) #Stree2 Trailer in 2 days!,” Shraddha captioned the post. “Sarkate ka atank (the terror of the headless)" is written on the poster. In another poster, Shraddha’s Stree gets ready for battle. “Aatank jab Chanderi par chhaya, tab sabko ek hi nara yaad aaya, O Stree Raksha Karna! (When terror looms over the town of Chanderi, everyone remembers only one slogan, “O Stree, protect us.”) The third poster features Shraddha lifting her braid in attack as the headless ghost approaches her. “Kaali taaqat se sabki raksha karne woh aa rahi hai bas 2 din mein! (She is coming in two days to protect everyone from evil forces),” reads the post’s caption.

The trailer for Stree 2 will drop on July 18. The film is produced by Jio Studios and Maddock Films and will be released in theatres on August 15.
