Choreographer Bosco Martis on SRK's injury during Pathaan shoot: ‘He was in pain but didn’t tell anyone’

Bosco revealed that Shah Rukh Khan shot the song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ in severe knee pain

Choreographer Bosco Martis revealed in a recent interview that Shah Rukh Khan was injured while shooting the song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ from his last year’s blockbuster Pathaan. Bosco said that while he had a knee injury, he wouldn’t let anyone know about it and kept performing.

Praising the dedication of the superstar, Bosco said in an interview with India Today, “We have been associated with SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) since Swades (2004). We choreographed the song ‘Yeh Tara Who Tara’. From then to now, it’s been an amazing experience with him. The kind of commitment and the kind of person that he is, he will not say no to any steps. He would do the steps; most of the time because of his knee injury, he was always in pain, but he never let you know.”

He added, “During the shoot of ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’, he (Shah Rukh Khan) never said anything about how uneasy he was. He would just do all the moves without any complaints; we would not even know that he used to go back to his van to fix himself up. He'll never let you change any steps; he will do everything that you want him to do.”       

Bosco has recently been getting appreciation for choreographing the Vicky Kaushal song, ‘Tauba Tauba’ from Bad Newz. Along with Caesar Gonsalves, the two have worked as the duo Bosco-Caesar in many films as choreographers.
