Reality show stars and entrepreneur sisters Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian arrived in Mumbai for the wedding of businessman Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The wedding is scheduled to take place today. This is Kim and Khloe’s first trip to India as they were seen along with their TV production crew.

The production crew carried equipment and lights, suggesting that the Ambani wedding could feature on their reality show The Kardashians. The show streams in India on Disney+ Hotstar. Kim received a hospitable welcome at the hotel in which they were staying. She took to Instagram stories to share some photos as she is being applied a ‘tika’ by the hotel attendees.

Along with the Kardashians, the wedding ceremony is expected to be attended by former Canadian PM Stephen Harper, former US Secretary of State John Kerry and former UK prime ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, as per some reports online. Indian film celebrities are likely to attend the ceremony as well.

Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding festivities were going on for the past few months with the Sangeet ceremony taking place last week in Mumbai where Justin Bieber performed. Another function was organized earlier this year in Jamnagar which was attended by Mark Zuckerburg, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, among others. Diljit Dosanjh performed at the function.

After the wedding on Friday, there will be an Aashirwad ceremony on Saturday and a grand reception on Sunday, concluding the long festivities.
