The song ‘Chaawat’ from Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan’s Sarfira was released by the makers on Thursday. It features the two of them getting married as Radhika hits the dance floor. The song has vocals by Shreya Ghoshal and is composed by GV Prakash Kumar with lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.

The music video of the song features the characters of Akshay and Radhika getting married and undertaking the wedding rituals. It is a Maharashtrian wedding and Radhika is wearing a blue saari as she gets on the dance floor in traditional avatar. The vocals by Shreya are lively and fill the music with energy.

The film’s trailer was released earlier, which introduced Akshay as Veer Mhatre, a villager who dreams of making an affordable airline.

Sarfira is the Hindi remake of the 2020 Tamil film Soorarai Pottru which starred Suriya. Both versions have been directed by Sudha Kongara. Apart from Akshay and Radhika, the film also stars Paresh Rawal and Seema Biswas. Produced by Aruna Bhatia, Jyotika, Suriya, Vikram Malhotra, the film is slated to release on July 12
