Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram stories on Wednesday to praise Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD. He called it a ‘grand cinematic spectacle’ while showering praises on his partner, Deepika, saying that she is ‘beyond comparison’ in the film. It also stars Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in a special appearance.

Ranveer wrote, “Kalki 2898 AD - a grand cinematic spectacle! That's what big screen cinema is all about! An unprecedented level of finesse in technical execution. The very best in Indian cinema. Congrats to Nagi Sir & team! Rebel Star rocks. Ulaganayagan is forever supreme!”

He added, “And if you are a die-hard Amitabh Bachchan fan like me, you just can't miss this! As for my baby, Deepika Padukone, you elevate every moment with your grace & dignity. Such poignancy, such poetry, such power. You are beyond comparison. I love you.”

Earlier, Jawan (2023) director Atlee had praised the film, calling its filmmaking ‘incredible’. He had written on his Instagram, “This film is truly stunning in every aspect. Prabhas sir, your performance was amazing! Deepika Padukone ma’am, I am your biggest fan, your work was so good! Amitabh Bachchan sir, you were at a god level in this film! Mass! Kudos to the entire team. VFX (fire emoticons) Best entertainment with great visual treat is Kalki.”

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film was released in theatres on June 27.
