Asur 2 actor Pawan Chopra to star in Indo British sports drama A Game of Two Halves

Asur 2 Actor Pawan Chopra will now be seen in A Game of Two Halves. It is an Indo-British sports drama film which is touted to be a coming-of-age story tackling identity, race, and finding one's place in the world. The film is helmed by director Khayam Khan and is set to release on February 23.

A Game of Two Halves also stars Saaj Raja, Lucy Jackson, Harish Khanna, Swaroopa Ghosh, Nikkita Chadha, Sudha Bhuchar, Chizzy Akudolu, Rajiv Kumar Aneja and Sachin Chaudhary in pivotal roles. It is written by Shirley Day and produced by Nicola Gregory and Sheila Nortley under the banner of K Squared Films, 2HotFilms & Emineo Films. It is internationally distributed by Shiladitya Bora of Platoon One Films.

Speaking about the film, Chopra said in a press release, "The film delves into the complex dynamics of a father-son relationship. The generational gap creates friction, with the father's expectations for his son's path clashing with the son's own desires. Through this conflict, however, the film reveals the depth of their love for each other, weaving a rich tapestry of emotions."

He further described his character in the film by saying, "He is incredibly stubborn, yet deeply loving. It is tough for parents to accept their children's unconventional choices, their desire to break the mold. But then, there's that undeniable pride, that sheer joy in knowing you have a son like this."
