Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi to star in rom-com Do Aur Do Pyaar

The film also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy

Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi will soon team up for the first time for a romantic comedy. The film, titled Do Aur Do Pyaar, also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy. Directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, the film is based on the 2017 comedy-drama film The Loversdirected by Azazel Jacobs and starring Debra Winger and Tracy Letts as leads.

The film’s production house Applause Entertainment shared a poster which shows Pratik and Vidya embracing Ileana and Sendhil while still holding on to each other.

“This season, let love surprise you, confuse you, consume you!” they captioned the post.

The Lovers revolves around a couple, Mary and Michael, who are seeing other people and are on the brink of breaking off their marriage. However, things take a funny turn after they rekindle their relationship.

Do Aur Do Pyaar will be released in theatres on March 29.

Vidya was last seen in the whodunit Neeyat (2023) while Pratik was part of the series Modern Love Mumbai (2022) and the film Khichdi 2: Mission Panthuksitan (2023). Ileana was last seen in the Abhishek Bachchan starrer The Big Bull (2021). Sendhil was last in the DC comic book series Doom Patrol (2022).
