Film Producer Goldie Behl is venturing into audio storytelling with the launch of Rosepod. This is an expansion of his Rose Audio Visuals which is aimed at creating audio tales across various genres. Along with the launch of Rosepod, a line-up of over 100 original fiction and non-fiction audio shows is planned.
The audio stories will be available to listen in Hindi and Tamil on all major platforms including Youtube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Jio Savaan, Amazon Music, Gaana and Hungama.
Speaking about this shift to audio storytelling, Goldie said in a press release, “Jumping into audio storytelling is a natural evolution, driven by our love for timeless stories and myself being a consumer of audio stories. In the world of sound, we're not just expanding creatively but building a close connection with our listeners.”
Further, he added, “While the audio space has its divisions, from informative to entertaining content, we're reaching out to everyone through our wide range of stories since it’s a reasonable and accessible form of entertainment. Our content is for all kinds of listeners, making this journey more than growth—it's a harmonious rhythm, weaving universal stories that bring us together.”
Goldie Behl is known for directing Drona (2008). He has also produced the web show Duranga (2022) and television shows including Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara (2012), Reporters (2015) and Aarambh (2017).
