Deepika Padukone to be a presenter at BAFTA Film Awards

Deepika Padukone is set to be a presenter at the BAFTA Film Awards this year. The actor confirmed the news by sharing a list of presenters on her Instagram story. David Beckham, Cate Blanchett and Dua Lipa are among the other confirmed celebrities who will present an award at BAFTA.

The BAFTA Film Awards are set to take place on Sunday night at the Royal Festival Hall in London. It will be attended by actors Bradley Cooper, Cillian Murphy and Barry Keoghan and directors Greta Gerwig, Christopher Nolan and Yorgos Lanthimos.

Deepika was one of the presenters at last year’s Oscars where she gave the Award for Best Original Song to team RRR for the song ‘Naatu Naatu’. While making the announcement, she said, “An irresistibly catchy chorus, electrifying beats and killer dance moves to match have made this next song a global sensation.”

Deepika was last seen in the aerial action thriller, Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand. She will next be seen portraying the role of a cop in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
