Karan Johar, Guneet Monga’s action thriller Kill gets a release date

The film had its premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last year

The release date of Kill, produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta and Achin Jain, was announced on Friday. It will have its theatrical release in India on July 5. The film is written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and stars debutant Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala.

Sharing the news on social media, the makers wrote in the caption, “KILL-ER ANNOUNCEMENT! #Kill is all set to hit theatres on 5th July 2024 in India. All aboard for a train ride of a lifetime!” Last year, the film had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) where it was appreciated for its slick action. The film features two commandos who face some bandits on a train going to New Delhi.

Kill is shot by Rafey Mahmood and edited by Shiv Kumar. The director of the film, Nikhil Nagesh Bhat has earlier directed films like Apurva (2023) and Brij Mohan Amar Rahe (2017).
