The song ‘Mitti’ from Siddharth Anand’s Fighter was released on Thursday. It is a patriotic song filled with the feeling of bravery. Fighter stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles. The screenplay of the film is written by Ramon Chibb with dialogues by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal.

The song begins with a blast that results in the death of some army men. Deepika and Hrithik get off the choppers to look at the situation. The music video then shows the martyred soldiers being given final respects in the funeral. ‘Mitti’ is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani who have also composed it. The lyrics are written by Kumaar and Abhijit Nalani is the music producer for the song.

Here's the song

Fighter is produced by Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, Anku Pande, Kevin Vaz and Ajit Andhare. It was released in theatres on the occasion of Republic Day on January 25. Our review of the film read, “Once air-borne, Fighter soars into technical glory. The VFX is quite impressive and Siddharth’s set-pieces, although inspired by Hollywood actioners, are wonderfully executed. The dogfights have an anxious urgency and a palpitating sense of threat. The trouble is on the ground. Out of the cockpit, the characters crafted by Siddharth along with director-screenwriter Ramon Chibb are functional prototypes.”
