The trailer for Sonu Sood’s debut directorial Fateh was unveiled by the makers on Monday. The action-thriller also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, Jacqueliene Fernandez and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in pivotal roles.

The trailer features Sonu in a high-octane action avatar as he wears a black suit and guns down enemies. Vijay seems to be playing the antagonist who is involved in a bunch of cyber crimes. Sonu threatens him to stop doing it in a massy dialogue scene. The trailer ends with Sonu’s character pulling a dead body along with a hammer as his dialogue runs on voiceover.

Speaking of the film at the trailer launch, Sonu said that he wanted to make an intense action film of international standards. “The journey of the film started three years before during Covid when a lot of cyber frauds were happening. When we were writing it, we didn’t imagine that the film will be shot abroad with collaborations with international artists,” he said.

Fateh is produced by Sonali Sood, Umesh KR Bansal and is set to be released in theatres on January 10.
