Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has been on a concert tour (Dil-Luminati Tour), starting this October in Delhi. The other day, he performed in Bengaluru, and he had a special visit from Deepika Padukone. In a video Diljit shared on social media, he and Deepika with a beaming smile can be seen singing and jiving to the former's song 'Lover'. Subsequently, Deepika taught Diljit some words in Kannada, and he thanked her for participating in his concert and praised her work in cinema.

Deepika and Diljit are yet to act together in a feature film. Diljit, however, sang the 'Bhairava Anthem' for the epic film Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika in key roles.

Earlier, Diljit hit back at the Telangana government after he was unable to perform songs with lyrics promoting violence, drugs or alcohol at a Hyderabad concert. "When artists come to India from other countries, they are allowed to do whatever they like, sing whatever they want. But when an artist from your own country is singing, people have so many problems," he said at the time.

Diljit is set to end his concert tour on December 29 in Guwahati. On the film front, Diljit has Border 2 in the pipeline. On the other hand, Deepika was last seen as DCP Shakti Shetty in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, also starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff, among others.
