Bhuvan Bam’s web series Taaza Khabar Season 2 will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on September 27, the makers announced on Saturday. Directed by Himank Gaur, the series also stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Deven Bhojani, Shilpa Shukla, Prathmesh Parab, and Nitya Mathur in pivotal roles.

Sharing a short promo video that features Bhuvan and gives a highlight of the first season, the makers wrote, “Jab kahani shuru hi anth se hoti hai, tabh jaadu nahi, bas chamatkaar hota hai (when the story starts from the end, then only miracles happen). Hotstar Specials Taaza Khabar Season 2 coming this September.”

Speaking about completing the show's shooting, Bhuvan had earlier said, “Shooting for Taaza Khabar Season 2 was like homecoming, it was a great time each day on set. The team is like family and we share a great camaraderie. With Season 2 we are delving deeper into Vasant's life, and I can't wait to see how audiences react.”

The first season of the show streamed in 2023 and told the story of a sanitation worker, Vasant, who gets magical powers that set his life apart. The show is produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the banner of BB Ki Vines Productions.
